30-DAY RETURN & REFUND POLICY

Situations arise — our return policy is built to be genuinely customer-friendly.

The essentials

  • All products, except special orders, may be returned for any reason within 30 days of the original invoice date. Sales become final after this period.
  • A 20% restocking fee applies to cover processing and handling. Total credit deductions (outbound freight + prepaid return label) will never exceed 20% of the returned part’s price.
  • Returned products must be new, in salable condition, and in the original packaging. Installed or modified parts cannot be returned.

How to start a return

  1. Get an RGA: every return needs a Returned Goods Authorization (RGA) issued in advance. Request one on our Return Request page or by emailing support@i40truckparts.com. (An RGA is a unique tracking number for your return — example: R123456789.)
  2. Receive your label: we send the RGA, a prepaid return shipping label, and instructions.
  3. Drop it off: affix the label and drop the package at the designated carrier within 7 business days of the label being sent. Returns not dropped off within this window are void, and the item is returned to the customer.

Credit calculation and refund timing

  • Credit is issued for the full part price, less the original outbound freight charge and the cost of the prepaid return label — capped in total at 20% of the part’s price.
  • Your credit is processed within 3–5 business days from the date the return ships on our label. Once issued, it may take 48–72 business hours to appear on your statement, depending on your bank. You’ll be notified by email when the refund is processed.

Deductions waived

  • Correct-part repurchase: if you repurchase the correct part during the return, all deductions are eliminated and you are credited in full, including freight and handling where applicable.
  • Our error: if the error is ours or our supplier’s/partner’s, you receive a full credit for the order amount (part price + tax + any freight/handling), and the prepaid return label is free of charge.

Limitations

  • Special order items are non-returnable.
  • International customers outside Canada are not eligible for returns unless the mistake is on our side.
